Mr. Glenn Thurstan Maltby, Muleshoe, Texas, wrote: Jan. 15, 1945. "Great-Grandfather was Joseph, resided in Vermont. Went to Illinois in 1837, when Grandfather Rollin Cornelius Maltby was six weeks old. (born in Vermont, 1837). He, Rollin, had a half-brother, whose name I do not know. My Father was Rollin Russell Maltby, he died in 1939. This family had a tradition of two brothers who came from Wales and settled in Vermont."
